SpaceX launches Crew-4 to ISS
27. 4. 2022On Wednesday, April 27, SpaceX launched the fourth Commercial Crew rotation mission to International Space Station. Falcon 9 first stage B1067 launched and landed for its fourth time on the A Shortfall of Gravitas droneship. Crew Dragon C212 named Freedom flew to space for the first time. Crew-4 was the seventh time SpaceX launched humans to orbit, this time with three NASA and one ESA astronaut. Crew Dragon will dock approximately 19 hours after launch and will stay docked for a six-month-long stay.

The Commander of the Crew-4 mission is Kjell Lindgren, he is flying on his second spaceflight. Robert Hines is the pilot of the mission and he will be making his first trip to space. Mission Specialist 1 Samantha Cristoforetti launched to space for the second time, she is an ESA astronaut from Italy. Mission Specialist 2 Jessica Watkins is making her first flight into space.
