SpaceX launched the first Starlink satellites from California, carrying a total of 51 second-generation Starlink satellites into orbit. The Falcon 9 lifted off from Vandenberg’s Space Launch Complex 4-East (SLC-4E) at 8:55 PM Pacific time and burned for an estimated 2 minutes and 32 seconds before MECO (Main Engine Cut Off) and stage separation. First stage booster (B1049) launched and landed on OCISLY droneship which previously supported recovery operations from Florida for the tenth time marking it the second booster to do so.
